Habbas & Associates is enthused to announce the addition of experienced trial attorney, Jeff Rickard to our firm. Jeff has a wealth of legal experience, ranging from personal injury, wrongful death, products liability, mass tort and toxic exposure cases. Over 25 years of experience include being an associate attorney at Alexander & Bohn, in-house counsel for a national insurance company, and Partner at Needam Kepner Fish & Rickard LLP.

After graduating with a B.S from Oral Roberts University in 1979, Jeff completed his J.D at Santa Clara University, in 1985. He is admitted into the State of California, Northern, Eastern and Central Districts, the U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Jeff’s legal accomplishments include being named Trial Lawyer of the Year in Santa Clara County not once, but on several occasions. He received the award in 2008 for his part in securing a verdict in excess of $10 million, in 2011 for his exemplary work for a $6 million settlement and most recently in 2014, for his part in a case involving an injured bicyclist in a dangerous intersection.

Jeff’s professional accomplishments also include serving as early neutral evaluator, arbitrator, private mediator and judge pro tem for Superior Court of Santa Clara County. Jeff is also a member of The Santa Clara County Bar Association, Santa Clara County Trial Lawyers Association and Consumer Attorneys of California. Jeff is AV Preeiminent Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell.
