Ms. Ajlouny secured the best possible settlement
I hired Ms. Ajlouny to represent me as a pedestrian who was struck by a motor vehicle in October 2025. One of the reasons I hired her was because she had over 30 years of experience as a PI attorney. I have done over 30 years of paralegal work and I have learned that some of the best attorneys are those with the most experience. In a little over a month, Ms. Ajlouny secured the best possible settlement I could ever get. Statistics show that having a good PI attorney usually results in settlements that are 3–4x greater than in pro per cases. I'd like to add that Ms. Ajlouny always kept me posted about my case and was very professional as well. Thank you and I hope my review helps.

Exceptional service
Francis from Habbas Law Firm was completely amazing in handling my case. I was hit by a car when I was going to work, the driver hit me twice, and I was rolled into a ditch. My medical expenses were way beyond what the other insurance would cover. The other insurance company ran it out for more than a year. Finally, I went to Habbas Law Firm. Francis took my case and kept me informed throughout the whole process. Medical bills paid. Exceptional service. I could not be more happy. Big thanks to Francis and Habbas Law.

Justice Was Served
While walking to my front door at my apartment complex, I was injured by a community-owned vehicle. Hoang Le from Habbas & Associates guided me on how to communicate with the leasing office management and handled everything else. Thanks to his help, I can now move on with my life knowing that justice was served.

Seamless Experience Provided
I had retained the services of Habbas, Nasseri & Associates when my mother-in-law was hit by a car while she was on an evening walk in our neighborhood. She had to undergo surgery and was wheelchair bound for some time. The case manager, Hoang Le, stopped by our home multiple times while my mother-in-law's mobility was restricted and was extremely helpful, responsive, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. He managed everything from getting reports from the Sheriff's office to managing the case paperwork and follow-up with the hospital and ambulance services. Mr. Habbas himself called over the phone and explained all the legal options after which, in due course of time, the case was settled. We are extremely happy with the seamless experience that they provided. All in all, you'd wish you never have to run into any injury situations, but if you do, then Habbas law firm is the place to go.

Brain Injury
$1,000,000Auto Collision Involving Disengaged Left Tire of Towed Truck
This collision occurred when the left rear tire of the Chevrolet truck that was being towed by Defendant's towing company disengaged from the truck and collided into a vehicle that was traveling northbound on I-5 in the city of Red Bluff. The collision caused the subject vehicle to lose control over the center median, overturn and slide directly into a vehicle that was being driven by the plaintiff on southbound on I-5.
Plaintiff sustained a severe head injury, with fractures and hemorrhaging, facial fractures, a splenic injury, a fractured rib and lung injury.
Spinal Cord Injury
$3,008,000Auto versus Big Rig Collision
Plaintiff was stopped for traffic in Interstate 95 in the city of Las Vegas. Defendant was employed by and operating a tanker truck owned by Coastal. Defendant's truck crashed into the plaintiff's vehicle from the rear. Defendant was inattentive and violated the basic speed law. In addition, the brakes on defendants' trailer were out of adjustment resulting in a 40% deficiency in braking capacity. Defendants admitted liability, but disputed the nature and extent of the plaintiff's injuries and damages. The plaintiff sustained a herniated disc at the L5-S1 level which required a discectomy. Plaintiff had residual pain and is a candidate for fusion surgery.
Plaintiff demanded: $2,300,000.00 which was later reduced to a $1,000,000.00 policy limit demand
Defendant offered: $350,000.00
COMMENTS: Plaintiff's counsel was misled by defense counsel to believe that there was only one insurance policy covering this incident. On the second day of trial, defense counsel notified plaintiff's counsel that there was an excess policy.
Spinal Cord Injury
$750,000Auto versus Big Rig Collision
The plaintiff, who was 33 years of age at the time of the incident, was stopped for traffic in the number two lane of US-101, within the county of Santa Clara, when the defendant, who was driving a big rig, changed lanes from the number three lane to the number two lane in an attempt to avoid traffic ahead of him, with the result that he crashed into the right rear portion of the plaintiffs vehicle. The plaintiff's brand new vehicle was totaled. Plaintiff sustained disc herniations in his neck and required a fusion at C4-5 and C5-6.
Spinal Cord Injury
$950,000Auto versus Pick Up Collision
Plaintiff was driving her vehicle in an easterly direction through an intersection when the defendant pulled into the intersection directly in the path of her vehicle, causing both vehicles to collide. Defendant disputed liability. Plaintiff sustained the following injuries, including the following: Facial scarring and nerve damage necessitating surgery; chin laceration through and through with a 6 cm intraoral laceration; nasal fracture; right mandible degloving injury deformity; head injury; and lumbar dysfunction/herniated disc with radicular pain into both lower extremities. Wrongful Death
$800,000Auto versus Truck Collision
A 39 year old mother of three was killed when her vehicle under rode the trailer of a big rig as it was attempting to make a left turn in front of the decedent. The investigating CHP officer held concluded that the mother was negligent and operating her vehicle at an unsafe and excessive speed for prevailing condition. Plaintiffs contended that the truck driver was negligent for not having conspicuity tape properly located on the trailer and for violating the terms of a permit issued by the City of Livermore. Defendants' denied liability and litigation ensued.

Liability depends on the circumstances. Generally, drivers are expected to exercise caution, but pedestrians must also follow traffic laws. Factors like traffic signals, eyewitness accounts, and violation of traffic laws determine liability. An attorney can help analyze the specifics of your case.
How is the amount of compensation determined?
Compensation is determined by evaluating the severity of injuries, the financial impact, and emotional suffering, among other factors. Attorneys use evidence like medical records, expert testimony, and financial documents to justify the compensation requested.
Can I claim compensation for a pedestrian accident?
Yes, you may be able to claim compensation if you can prove that another party was negligent. Compensation can cover medical expenses, lost wages, and pain and suffering. Consulting a personal injury attorney can help evaluate your potential claim and the compensation you may be entitled to.
Can I claim if I was partially at fault?
Yes, you may still claim compensation under comparative negligence laws if you were partially at fault. Your compensation might be reduced by your percentage of fault. An attorney can help determine the impact of your fault on a potential compensation claim.
