Tarik Habbas

Attorney

Tarik R. Habbas joined Habbas and Associates in May 2019. Tarik earned both his B.A. in Political Science from Santa Clara University, and then his Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2016.

After law school, and prior to joining Habbas and Associates, Tarik worked as an associate attorney for Gwilliam Ivary Chiosso Cavalli & Brewer, APC, in Oakland, CA. There, Tarik primarily focused his practice on Employment Law. However, Tarik also handled Personal Injury matters.

In May 2019, after working at Gwilliam Ivary Chiosso Cavalli & Brewer, APC, for approximately 3 years, Tarik joined Habbas & Associates, where he started an Employment Law division within the firm. Tarik handles both personal injury cases and employment law cases. Tarik was selected to the 2021, 2022 and 2023 California Super Lawyers Rising Stars. Tarik has handled major injury cases and has successfully handled hundreds of cases for his clients, with recoveries in the six and seven figure range.

Tarik became a Partner at Habbas & Associates in February 2024.

Tarik married Anjuli Nanda in September of 2021. Anjuli graduated from Santa Clara University School of Law in the top 10% of her class in 2017, and is currently a Partner at Kapital Partners, spearheading the real estate development arm. Tarik and Anjuli were blessed with their first first child, Rafferty Habbas, on April 7, 2024.

Tarik is a proud member of the Board of Fellows at Santa Clara University.

Outside of the office, Tarik enjoys spending time with his growing family, gardening and traveling.
