Mr. Habbas Named to National Association of Distinguished Counsel

A highly selective and trusted organization, the National Association of Distinguished Counsel dedicates itself to promoting the highest standards of legal excellence through objective recognition of lawyers who set a benchmark for others to emulate. Because the NADC is incredibly selective in its research and selection process, only an elite few are extended invitations for membership. According to the NADC, less than 1% of all practicing U.S. lawyers are members of the “Nation’s Top Attorneys.”

As the NADC selection process makes clear, members invited into the organization are vetted through a rigorous, multi-phase methodology that consists of:

• Nominations – Potential candidates must be nominated for inclusion by an in-house research team or by current NADC members, fellow attorneys, and current or former clients.
• Independent Research – Nominated attorneys are carefully vetted by NADC researchers, who evaluate a number of criteria regarding an attorney’s record of success, notable case results, client reviews, reputation, experience, training, stature in the legal community, noteworthy awards, and more.
• Panel Review – A blue ribbon panel reviews results of research provided by NADC staff. Because panels are comprised of top-rated attorneys and members, they have the requisite insight to determine when a lawyer’s body of work truly indicates they exceed and elevate the standards of the Bar. As the NADC notes, their final decisions reflect a list of lawyers who can be considered “truly elite.”
