Forty years of standing with our neighbors
We have spent four decades fighting for injured Californians.
Many of them are alive because a stranger gave blood before
anyone knew their name.
Blood cannot be manufactured. Every unit used in an emergency room, a surgery, or a cancer treatment came from a person who decided to sit down for half an hour. On October 14 we are opening our lot, and we would like San Jose to fill it.

What the day looks like
Four steps, about thirty minutes
Step 1
Book a time
Pick a slot online or scan the QR code. You will get a confirmation from Vitalant.
Step 2
Eat and hydrate
Have a full meal and plenty of water
before you arrive. Bring a photo ID.
Step 3
Check in and donate
A short health screening, then roughly ten minutes in the chair on the bloodmobile.
Step 4
Rest and refuel
Snacks, water, and a few minutes to sit
before you head back to your day.
